Multi-light pattern with optimum power
The lens system of the Penta makes the Pro version an ideal and reliable companion for professionals, alpinists and all outdoor enthusiasts - whether for hiking, trail running, camping or demanding, professional applications such as mountain rescues and expeditions where absolute reliability is essential.
The Penta Pro's multi-light pattern is perfectly optimized for precisely this purpose: wide spread with a defined spot. The surroundings are ideally illuminated completely evenly and up to 140 meters away. Also perfect for supporting peripheral vision without a tunnel effect.
Enhanced with the diffuse light function, glare-free white light is also available to create homogeneous close-range illumination.
Red light for discreet and eye-friendly illumination
As a logical completion, the high-end headlamp offers a multi-level red light for eye-friendly and discreet illumination in the dark. Whether you are camping in a tent or bed camp, fishing or hunting - the optimum brightness is available for every situation or can be individually configured.
Safety is also guaranteed with the special "SOS" and "FLASH" functions: In the event of accidents or injuries in secluded or alpine terrain, the emergency signals help to quickly draw attention to yourself.
Intelligent light management thanks to sensor control
Fully focused for all activities: The automatically controlled Lupine Penta Pro dynamically changes the intensity of the main light via the brightness sensor depending on the ambient brightness.
Optimum light output in every situation: The integrated tilt sensor dims the brightness of the Penta Pro by tilting or tilting the head, preventing the wearer from being dazzled when reading maps, for example.
High-end technical solutions for maximum performance
Like all lights from Lupine, the Penta Pro also relies on technical solutions that are far above the competition in terms of quality: Starting with the extremely robust and elaborately milled aluminum housing, which not only shines with particularly high-quality workmanship, but also serves as a powerful heat sink at the same time. In combination with the two temperature sensors and intelligent real-time temperature management, the Lupine Penta Pro always achieves maximum performance even in difficult environments and is characterized by unparalleled reliability.
The specially selected LEDs of the highest quality are also part of the feature set. The Penta Pro uses a total of five of them, which are specifically matched to each other to produce the first-class light image - naturally without the irritating and extremely annoying 3D effect that cheap headlamps often have.
The complete system is rounded off by the proprietary HardCase or SmartCore rechargeable batteries, which are largely responsible for the power development and the extensive light duration - equipped with the best battery cells on the market and pre-tested several times for maximum longevity and capacity.
Two selectable color temperatures
Available in the color temperatures 5,700 Kelvin (daylight white) and 4,500 Kelvin (neutral white), the Penta Pro covers a whole range of possible application scenarios. The warmer color temperature of 4,500 Kelvin shows its advantages when used in snow, for example, and ensures increased color accuracy of illuminated objects. The colder 5,700 Kelvin produces more brightness and therefore more light.
Intuitive operation
As usual with this light series, the Penta Pro is operated simply and intuitively using the two buttons on the lamp head. Unlike the Penta with integrated rechargeable battery, the buttons for controlling the main and red light functions are not located next to each other, but at the top and bottom of the lamp head respectively.
The right configuration for every application
In order to meet even the highest demands in the professional sector, the Penta Pro offers extensive configurability: not only can the individual levels be defined in the desired intensity, but the functions of the buttons can also be changed. This allows the high-end headlamp to be precisely tailored to personal preferences - including the deactivation or activation of the sensors and the high-start or low-start function.
Secure transportation, safe use
To be able to react quickly in the dark, it is ideal to always have the Penta Pro with you. Whether in a backpack or jacket pocket, unintentional activation by other objects and the resulting heat generation can be prevented by the button lock function. To do this, simply press both buttons on the lamp for 3 seconds until a visual signal lights up. The Penta Pro can then be used again just as quickly.
In addition, the lamp head can remain permanently connected to the battery thanks to the intelligent energy management, as the Penta Pro does not consume any power when switched off.
Clever quick-change system
The clever quick-change system increases the flexibility of the Penta Pro enormously, as the headlamp can be transformed into a helmet lamp in a flash, for example. Using the FrontClick holder, the lamp head can be easily changed between the various mounting options without tools. The same applies to the battery with the corresponding FastClick holder. This means that the Penta Pro is ready for many different application scenarios in a matter of seconds.
Multifunctional: The SmartCore battery
The Lupine Penta Pro is available with a HardCase (3.1 Ah) or SmartCore battery (3.5 Ah). The latter has an integrated display with 5 red LEDs that show the capacity in 10 percent increments. The highlight: the display can also be used as an emergency permanent light or continuous running light, which increases visibility from behind and therefore also significantly increases safety.
